Consecrated in 1882 and enlarged and embellished in 1897, S. Luke’s has been a continuing beacon of the Christian Faith in Southport and the Diocese of Liverpool for over one hundred years.

“All Glorious Within”

We are a friendly, open and welcoming parish, with a strong commitment to Forward in Faith and the Catholic Societies, especially the CBS.

During the year, as well as regular worship, there are social events and fund-raising activities.

Can You Help Us?

Many people who worship at S. Luke’s, both from the parish and further afield, ask what they can do to contribute to the work of the parish, the maintenance of the beautiful building, and to ensure the continuation of our Anglo-Catholic heritage and worship.

If you would like to contribute in this way we would invite you to become a Friend of S. Luke’s.

You can make a tax-free donation. Payment by Standing Order is welcomed.

All our Friends receive a copy of the parish magazine, together with details of social events and other activities.

Please pick up a leaflet at the back of the church, or ask one of the church wardens for further details.

Alternatively, you can contact the Priest in Charge.
